Oklahoma City Wedding Photographer :: Absence makes the heart grow fonder?

Ah yes. I would like to believe that is true.  So please say you have missed me.  I have been so wrapped up in life at warp speed, not to mention trying to enjoy every delicious minute of this beautiful weather.  So my blog has been ignored.  I shall try harder to make contact more often.  I actually think about posting and then get caught up in something else.  ARGH.  Such is life.  But I do have some wonderful new shots to share with you. Just a week ago, I got to shoot this lovely couple, Kristen & Jeff. They are gorgeous and you can just feel the love oozing between them.  It made me want to do a wedding every weekend.  LOL

Thank you!

Thank you to Cara at Made by Cara over at Etsy for featuring me in her “Not Quite White” treasury.  What a beautiful collection and I am honored to share the spot with her other guests… Feel free to view her beautiful jewelry pieces here.  That is me on the bottom, 2nd picture, “Tickling the Ivories”.  And don’t forget, I am giving FREE SHIPPING on my own Etsy shoppe until the 31st!!!

Happy Holidays!

christmasHowdy y’all! I hope everyone had a great holiday. We spent the morning opening gifts and playing with the dogs and then created a wonderful lunch as a family.  The remainder of the day was spent lounging around watching movies, and snacking on all the goodies.  Quiet, peaceful, family time.

Big Green Monster

Okay, so anyone who knows me also knows that I love strange things.  Things that look out of place interest me… things that are damaged, decayed, falling apart interest me… you get the picture.  So the other day I am driving down a lonely country road.  The scenery here in Oklahoma is pretty much cattle, old trees, old barns, etc… This particular day I needed a boost (read previous post) and I found it. As I was driving I saw this big green thing sitting on the side of the road.  As usual, I left my glasses at home so I could not quite make out the shape from a distance.  As I got closer, I realized it was a big green chair.  Bright GREEN might I add.  And sitting in of all places, a field facing the cattle.  Well, of course how could I resist the temptation to capture that???  So I did and so here it is…
